March 2019

basketball                                                               March News                              2019

March……its winter’s last stand, St. Patrick’s Day and lots of basketball!  We will be following several college basketball teams as they play through the NCAA tournament.  Our display case in the lunch room will be full of items representing college teams in Kansas and around the Midwest.   At lunch and recess we will talk about the tournament journey…..who’s in, who’s out.   This is a fun season for the students and it’s a great way to teach our youngsters what it takes to get to college and especially what it takes to be a college athlete……lots of hard work starting now, practicing good study habits and setting high goals.
